Renee Tsatsis has extensive suicide prevention and training experience, having worked for over 15 years in the community and mental health sectors, including her most recent position managing a state-wide mental health helpline. Renee holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Social Work, and is a social worker registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers.

As State Training Manager for VIC and TAS, Renee manages and oversees the rollout of suicide prevention activities and projects with key stakeholders across the region, while also supporting local trainers in their development as safeTALK and ASIST trainers. She has delivered over 150 ASIST and safeTALK workshops herself and is also an ASIST Coach and safeTALK Instructor. Renee sits on the Suicide Prevention Australia VIC/TAS Joint Committee

Renee believes teamwork makes the dream work – and because of this she has a knack for bringing people together to better support their community through innovative and collaborative projects. She is passionate about working with others to deliver high quality skills-based training with a shared goal of creating a suicide safer community.

Outside of work, Renee’s life is filled with precious family time with her partner and two young girls, and recently they have started hiking together.
