NSW/ACT Regional Training Manager (Acting)

Chris Pidd lg

Chris Pidd is a highly experienced cultural and health sector leader. His work in the cultural sector spans all areas of the performing arts as a producer, director and performer. His credits are many; however, directing and performing alongside John Wood in Carpe Diem was a significant highlight. Carpe Diem toured 120 regional and remote communities over three years. The play was a hilarious piece encouraging men to seek support if they suffered a mental illness or had thoughts about suicide.

While working at Lifeline, he developed a passion for Suicide Prevention. Chris is a LivingWorks ASIST and safeTALK Master Trainer. He is currently in the role of NSW/ACT Regional Training Manager, overseeing and supporting a network of more than 190 LivingWorks ASIST and safeTALK trainers.

Chris plays the guitar and sings in his spare time and has directed many community choirs over the years.
